Army WT entered four players into the University Taekwondo World Championships, held in Nottingham. A reported 50 nations entered the competition which provided Army WT with much needed international experience and preparation before the Interservices. Army players competed excellently at the event with three of the four competitors winning medals. Pte Gurung took both Silver in Poomsae (patterns) and Bronze in Kyrogui (full contact sparring).
